Machine type: MAP Tray Sealers |
Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) is a process that maintains product quality by extending the shelf life of perishable foods. MAP refers to a condition produced at the time of packaging. The gases within the package are allowed to change as the biological and physical conditions dictate. MAP preserves food with the least amount of damage to texture, taste and nutrition.
The SLB line provides an economical and efficient method of extending the shelf life of fresh products through modified atmosphere packaging.
Some of the key features and benefits of the SLB line include:
• Patented gas flush process that achieves less than 0.1% residual oxygen in a short period of time.
• It's easy to load and unload the product which means higher operator efficiency
• Quick tooling changeover - under 2 min.on some models - means flexiblity when working with different tray sizes
• Small footprint and mobile so it's ideal where space is at a premium | |
