MED VAC VALIDATABLE MEDICAL POUCH SEALER
Designed for applications requiring a heavy duty vacuum/gas sealer, the MED VAC floor standing sealer is the standard against which others are measured.
It is designed for ease of validation and is usable with a wide variety of pouch materials in cleanroom or general medical pouch sealing applications.
The MED VAC is the sealer of choice for high volume medical vacuum sealing applications with its standard independent vacuum, gas, seal and cool timers, electric
vacuum pump and ported exhaust system.
PAC offers the MED VAC GA Vacuum Impulse Sealer for applications requiring process validation of seals.
Standard features include:
- 5/16" wide seal element in each jaw with selector switch permitting heat from either or both jaws. This meets the sealing needs of a wide variety of bag materials.
- Seal length: 18", 24", 30", 36"
- Temperature Controller with digital readout indicating desired temperature for more consistent seals. Dual sensors monitor heated jaws selected by operator.
- Digital timers for each stage of vacuum, gas flush, seal, and cool with 0.1 second increments from 0.0 to 9.9 seconds. Sealing time starts when seal temperature is reached, ensuring consistent seals. A vacuum timer with 1 second increments from 0.0 seconds to 99 seconds is available for larger volume bags.
- Seal Only Switch operates machine as a sealer with vacuum/gas nozzles retracted out of seal area.
- Programmable Pressure Switch for seal pressure permits operator to select maximum and minimum acceptable limits. A digital readout indicates current pressure.
- Electric Vacuum Pump for fast evacuation.
- Alarm system will abort cycle if seal temperature or pressure is out of preset range.
- Emergency Stop Button on control panel.
- Clear control box cover with key lock, so only authorized personnel can change operating parameters.
- Verification outputs for calibration/verification of machine controllers.
- Ported Exhaust that combines all exhaust air to one port that can be piped outside Clean Room environments.
- Unit requires 220 volt electric and 100-120 PSI air.
Customization options include:
- Locking Swivel Casters to permit easily moving machine to different locations.
- Multistage Vacuum/Gas cycles (2 each) permitting greater oxygen removal for modified atmosphere packaging.
- Bag Stretcher to assist proper fitting of bags into seal jaws avoiding wrinkles in the seal area.
- Stainless Steel Workshelf simplifies bag positioning by supporting product.
- Verification Timer plugs into time port to display actual seal time. The timer can be certified by suitable agencies.
